Here at Birdie + Me we are conscious in looking after the world around us. We are a young small business and are implementing as many sustainable processes as possible. We order small batch's so not to over-consume and have our overseas shipments sent via sea wherever possible instead of air freight as this is more environmentally friendly.
Your items are packed and shipped in all recyclable and/or compostable materials. We use recycled tissue paper, compostable soy based ink stickers, recycled & uncoated post cards and Heropack home compostable shipping mailers that are made from cornstarch & cassava root - these break down within 90 days in a compostable environment and leave no waste or toxins behind (please remove shipping labels before composting and dispose in commercial rubbish).
We are not perfect but believe little by little, a little becomes a lot.
